This unique craft beer delivers the familiar flavor of a fresh-baked soft pretzel, with notes of toasted grain, light caramel, buttered toast, and a subtle hint of salt. A medium body and clean fermentation give the beer a satisfying salty-sweet character, while a crisp, dry finish keeps it refreshing and easy to drink.

Aroma: Definite pretzel character with a light buttery shell and hints of caramel. Subtle toffee-like notes and an extremely faint fruity character reminiscent of stone fruit.

Flavor & Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied with a salty-sweet character reminiscent of a fresh-baked soft pretzel. Toasted grain, light caramel, and buttered toast flavors lead into a clean, dry, crisp finish with a subtle hint of salt.

Brewers' Notes: The base recipe is reminiscent of a traditional Irish Red Ale, with buttered toast and toffee-like flavors and aromas. We use a clean ale yeast and ferment cool to allow the premium malt character to shine. Then we add 160+ pounds of real pretzels to the mash, contributing authentic pretzel flavor along with additional body from the wheat and salt.
