Orange Crushsicle Ale

Remember the orange creamsicle popsicles from when you were younger? Orange Crushsicle Ale brings that familiar combination of bright citrus and creamy vanilla to your glass—with a distinctly adult twist.

Made with an incredible one pound of tangerine and orange puree per gallon of beer, this refreshing fruit ale delivers an intense orange flavor balanced by a subtle creamy vanilla character. With little hop character and a dry, sweet malt profile, the bright acidity from the citrus keeps the beer crisp and refreshing rather than overly sweet.

Essentially, we made a beer-mosa. The result is a vibrant, citrus-forward craft beer that's approachable enough for someone new to craft beer but flavorful enough to keep seasoned beer drinkers coming back for another pour. Think orange juice, tangerine, vanilla, and a refreshing beer finish—all in one glass.

Aroma: Bright orange and tangerine with notes of doughy oats and mild vanilla.

Flavor & Mouthfeel: Intense orange and tangerine flavor with a dry, sweet pale malt character and very little hop bitterness. A subtle creamy vanilla note adds to the creamsicle-like character, while the acidity from the orange and tangerine juice and puree keeps the finish bright and refreshing.

Brewers' Notes: Essentially, we made a beer-mosa. We add one pound of tangerine and orange puree per gallon of beer to create an intensely citrusy drinking experience. The result is a super-refreshing alternative to a pale ale that can introduce someone new to craft beer while still delivering plenty of flavor for experienced beer drinkers.
